Spice of Life
Thank you to all your baby name suggestions! :) There were quite a lot of good ones!
We think we have decided on a boy/girl name. :) It shall remain under wraps for the time being.
Spent the weekend watching DH play softball on Saturday. He made an awesome tumbling catch in the 6th inning. It turned out to be the game saving catch as it prevented runs from scoring and allowed the team to tie the game in the next inning and then win it in the last inning. I wish I had a videotape of his catch as it was the best catch I've seen him do. Worthy of the highlight/gem of the day video footage on ESPN.... :)
On Sunday, my girlfriends and I met for breakfast at Jones' house. We ended up hanging out at their house for the whole day. We ate, gossiped, her and Kim's kids played while the girls and I played pool. DH stopped by in the late morning. I had invited him to come along but he had initially declined. So I was surprised he stopeed by and hung out at Jones' house. He was content after we fed him and he was able to watch football the whole afternoon. (His fantasy football league started that week). While he hung out with Jones' hubby, the girls and I gossiped and planned our LV trip coming up in a few weeks.
On Friday, we had our monthly check up with the doctor. We heard the heart beat and it was a strong heart beat around 150 beats/min. Per old wives tale.... that range means it will be a boy. If the beats were higher around 155-160, it would indicate a girl. At our last appt, the heartbeats were close to 160. Hmmmm....
Question of the day: If you had to describe your as a spice, what would you be and why?

I'm not really sure what spice I would be.
I think I may be garlic salt. Only because I like that spice so much. But unlike garlic, I don't think my breath smells cause I brush three times a day and I am pretty good about hygiene and all.
All,
I talked to Trixie over Google Talk the other day and she assured me... that even though, an excited-expectant mother, she wouldn't turn this into a mommy-blog. :D
I appreciate the comment. However, this blog is about my own personal thoughts.
If it becomes too much of a blog about our journey as expectant parents, I am not going to apologize for it as this is an important event in our life.
I'd hate to see long time readers leave because of it as I've met some great people through blogging. But, I'm not going to change what I write and worry that it may bore readers. This is a personal blog and I'm not in it for popularity or site traffic.
Trixie
If you do lose some readers, you will just get new ones--i like mommy blogs :)
Thank you and welcome, Secretmom. :)
